Designing a Fragrance Label, Brand Identity, and E-commerce Design for Bene Halitus House of Fragrance.
Creating a captivating fragrance, Brand Identity, and E-commerce Design is more than just a pleasant scent; it requires a cohesive brand identity and an engaging e-commerce presence. Our mission with Bene Halitus House of Fragrance was clear: to blend luxury with accessibility, crafting a brand that speaks to the modern, budget-savvy consumer across Europe, Canada, and the United States. Here's how we brought this vision to life in ten steps.
Step-by-Step Brand Creation
01. Understanding the Client's Vision
Our journey began with understanding the client's goals, target audience, timeline, and budget. We aimed to cater to individuals aged 18-45 who appreciate luxury without breaking the bank.
02. Strategic Planning
We formulated a strategy to make luxury fragrances affordable, positioning Bene Halitus as a leader in the "luxury within reach" market. Our focus was on quality, sustainability, and exceptional customer service, with perks like free shipping on orders over €60 and a 14-day return policy.
03. Crafting a Moodboard
Inspiration came from a mix of editorial photos, classic perfume ads, and elegant color schemes—charcoal, dusty rose, and burnished gold—to convey modern elegance and timeless luxury.
04. Logo Development
The logo, based on the initials "BH," underwent several iterations before finalization, ensuring it captured the brand's essence and elegance.
05. Color Palette Selection
Colors were chosen to reflect the brand's core values:
06. Typography Choices
Optima was selected for bold headings, complemented by Helvetica Now for subheadings and body text, providing a clean and modern feel.
07. Imagery and Photography
Imagery focused on natural settings, diverse models, and luxurious backdrops. Product photography included shots on wood textures and minimalistic white backgrounds, enhanced with fragrance note visuals.
08. Label Design
The label design was kept simple and elegant, featuring black and white colors. The hierarchy was crucial—logo first, product name second, and size last.
09. Developing the E-Commerce Platform
The online store was crafted on Wix, starting with an enticing hero section featuring perfume bottles against a golden backdrop. The site was organized into sections for best sellers, reviews, and blog highlights, with categories for men, women, and unisex products.
10. Social Media and Marketing
Complementing the website, we designed social media banners to engage and expand our audience, ensuring that Bene Halitus's message of accessible luxury reached a wide audience.
Through this meticulous process, Bene Halitus House of Fragrance emerged as a brand that not only offers high-quality scents but also tells a story of luxury made accessible to all.
